The Rheumatology and Immunology Department of Sanya Central Hospital (The Third People's Hospital of Hainan Province) was established in 2024. It provides medical services to patients across the entire southern Hainan region. The department adheres to taking "ensuring medical safety, continuously improving medical technology and service capabilities, and building a brand-name discipline" as the core goals of its development. The inpatient department has 12 beds open. The outpatient department has 1 general consultation room, 1 expert consultation room, and 1 specialized disease consultation room, as well as a diabetes nursing outpatient, a diabetic foot dressing-change room, a thyroid puncture room, and an MMC studio (National Standardized Metabolic Management Center).
