Established in 1978, the Outpatient Department of Sanya Central Hospital has evolved over more than forty years into a large comprehensive department that integrates medical care, teaching, preventive health care, rehabilitation, and health education. The department currently has 55 staff members, including 6 in the outpatient office, 10 in the nursing team, 4 doctors (including rehires and talent imports), and 36 labor dispatch personnel. There are 9 staff with senior professional titles and 4 with intermediate professional titles. The Outpatient Department operates year-round without holidays and offers various forms of appointment-based registration services, greatly facilitating patient visits.

In December 2023, the new outpatient building officially started trial operations. With a total area of 46,252.05 m2, the building comprises 5 above-ground floors and 2 underground floors, housing 19 diagnosis and treatment areas covering endocrinology, neurology, cardiovascular, skeletal, digestive, reproductive, respiratory, and urological systems. It includes 48 specialty clinics, 6 specialized outpatient clinics, 34 clinical departments, 15 medical technology departments, and 7 studios for renowned physicians. Experts from various specialties within and outside the province periodically provide consultations at the hospital, with a daily patient volume of up to 6000. Furthermore, the new outpatient building is equipped with outpatient operating rooms, MRI rooms, a medical examination center, a pharmacy, and an underground parking lot, creating a more convenient, comfortable, and welcoming environment for both patients and healthcare providers.

The layout of the new outpatient building is scientifically rational, with a zone management model implemented in the outpatient areas. Each floor's treatment area is equipped with registration and payment counters, functional examination rooms, blood collection stations, self-service equipment, and more. This setup allows patients to complete basic diagnostic and treatment needs such as registration, payment, blood collection, report printing, electrocardiogram examinations, ultrasound examinations, etc., without leaving the treatment area. Over 95% of the diagnostic and treatment processes are completed internally, pioneering a new model of "one-stop healthcare services" that offers unprecedented convenience to patients, significantly enhancing diagnostic and treatment efficiency.

The first floor of the outpatient department houses a "one-stop" service center, providing services such as registration and payment, one-stop refund services, medical insurance consultations, medical administration services (including birth certificates, death certificates, disability assessments, medical record printing, etc.), triage guidance, inpatient processing, centralized appointment booking for functional examinations, convenience services, services for the elderly and disabled, doctor-patient communication services, and health education. The center adopts a management model of "one-stop service," "all-in-one processing," and "multi-skilled positions," further enhancing the level of service intelligence and comfort, shaping a new medical service model with more scientific processes, more efficient services, and a more caring attitude. This model effectively reduces patients' back-and-forth movements in various functional areas within the hospital, allowing patients to enjoy convenient and high-quality medical services.

We continuously strive to enhance the quality of medical services, expand service offerings, deepen service content, and aim to win the satisfaction of a wide range of patients through excellent technical expertise, high-quality services, and noble medical ethics.
