From March 30 to 31, the 2024 Annual Meeting of the China Association for Ideological and Political Work in Health and Health Care was held in Xiongan New Area, Hebei Province. At the meeting, 133 national "Benchmark Units for Ideological and Political Work in Health and Health Care" were commended, and Sanya Central Hospital (The Third People's Hospital of Hainan Province) was on the list, and it is also the only awarded unit in southern Hainan.

The daily outpatient and emergency visits have increased from more than 2,000 in September last year to more than 5,000 at present, and the daily number of inpatients has increased from more than 1,100 to more than 1,400. For 50 diseases with the most urgent needs of the masses, 83 new technologies have been carried out to relieve patients' pain, focusing on improving the diagnosis and treatment ability and level of difficult, acute, critical, and severe diseases, and gradually achieving the goal of "no need to go out of the city for major diseases".
Party Building Co-Construction Gathers Strength and High-Quality Resources Reach the Grassroots
To enable the masses to enjoy the high - quality medical services of a Grade A tertiary hospital at their doorstep and promote the sinking of high-quality resources, the Executive Office of the Medical Group Committee was established, and 10 business backbones were selected to participate in the management of health centers in Yacheng, Maling, etc. respectively. Maling Health Center won the first prize in the group competition for grassroots medical staff and the first prize in the family doctor signing service competition of the Third Hainan Province "Grassroots Health Cup". It took the lead in establishing a remote imaging diagnosis center and established and improved the model of "letting information run more and the masses run less". A total of more than 3,000 diagnoses were provided for the grassroots. It guided Yacheng Health Center and Yucai Hospital to successively build standardized grassroots chest pain treatment units, and more than 90 patients with myocardial infarction have been treated promptly within the "golden time". Under the leadership of the Party Committee of the Sanya Health Commission, it continuously constructs a 15-min medical treatment and emergency rescue circle and has established 10 emergency stations in the city. Our hospital undertakes the construction of 9 emergency stations, with a radiation scope covering the Tianya Haijiao Scenic Area and Nanshan Tourist Scenic Area. The vehicle dispatch rate within 3-min reaches 100%, and an emergency rescue network system of "zero distance in scenic areas, 5 km in urban areas, and 10 km in rural areas" has been built.
