On the morning of March 22, Sanya Central Hospital (The Third People's Hospital of Hainan Province) held the unveiling ceremony of the "Professor Lv Shuzheng Famous Doctor Studio" in the first conference room on the fourth floor of the surgical building. Professor Lv Shuzheng, the chief expert of the Department of Cardiology at Beijing Anzhen Hospital Affiliated with Capital Medical University, officially joined the Cardiovascular Disease Center of our hospital, marking that the people in southern Hainan can enjoy the diagnosis and treatment services of national-level top experts at their "doorstep". Feng Wu, Party Secretary of the hospital, Wang Tiansong, President, Zhang Guoru, Assistant to the President, and the heads of relevant functional departments attended the ceremony. Professor Lv Shuzheng is the chief expert of the Department of Cardiology at Beijing Anzhen Hospital Affiliated with Capital Medical University. For many years, he has been engaged in the diagnosis and treatment of coronary heart disease, as well as clinical and scientific research work in cardiology. He has rich experience and unique insights in the diagnosis and treatment of coronary heart disease, arrhythmia, rheumatic heart disease, cardiomyopathy, congenital heart disease, and complicated diseases. He is one of the pioneers in carrying out coronary intervention treatment in China, taking the lead in carrying out a number of new interventional treatment technologies in China. He has been invited to carry out coronary intervention surgeries in about 200 municipal-level hospitals in 30 provinces and municipalities across the country. For many consecutive years, the total number of coronary intervention treatments and the number of treatments for complex lesions have ranked among the top in the country. He is a well-known cardiovascular disease expert in China.

At the ceremony, Professor Lv Shuzheng said that the establishment of the studio is just a form, and more importantly, it is to assume responsibilities, deepen the connotation, and continuously improve the discipline ability. He pointed out that it is necessary to strengthen talent cultivation and professional guidance. Although the interventional level of the hospital is becoming more and more mature, there are not many interventional doctors. It is necessary to introduce and cultivate a group of interventional backbone doctors with all-round development in medical treatment, teaching, and research, and jointly expand and strengthen the specialties related to vascular diseases. It is necessary to establish an incentive mechanism. Interventional doctors should be rewarded in terms of professional title promotion and performance inclination. It is necessary to improve scientific research capabilities. The development of the discipline is inseparable from scientific research. It is necessary to introduce and cultivate scientific research talents in cardiovascular medicine to improve the discipline level of the department.
