On the afternoon of January 25, the signing and plaque-awarding ceremony of the Tumor Standardized Diagnosis and Treatment Base of the Chongqing University Cancer Hospital was held in the first conference room on the fourth floor of the surgical building of our hospital. Wu Yongzhong, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Chongqing University Cancer Hospital, Zhang Wei, Deputy Party Secretary, Zou Dongling, Director of the Gynecological Oncology Center, Huang Jianqing, Director of the Party Office and the Hospital Management Research Center, Zhao Yulan, Director of the Medical Insurance Department and the Development Department, Ou Tao, Chief Physician of the Tumor Radiotherapy Center, and other members of the delegation attended the signing and unveiling ceremony. Feng Wu, Party Secretary of Sanya Central Hospital, Wang Tiansong, Deputy Party Secretary and President, and the heads of relevant functional departments participated in the ceremony.
At the signing and unveiling ceremony, Wang Tiansong, Deputy Party Secretary and President of our hospital said that since the two sides signed a cooperation agreement in April last year, our hospital has sent several batches of backbones to the Chongqing University Cancer Hospital for study, learning a lot of experience in hospital management, discipline construction, and integrated development. The hospital will continue to rely on the exquisite technical advantages and strong expert team of the Chongqing University Cancer Hospital, strengthen discipline construction, accelerate the talent cultivation of our hospital, and improve the construction of tumor standardized diagnosis and treatment. Subsequently, he introduced the progress of the hospital's work in 2023.
Wu Yongzhong, Party Secretary of the Chongqing University Cancer Hospital, gave a presentation on the relevant situation of the base hospital and the core competitiveness of its development under the title of Driving the High-Quality Development of the Hospital with Core Competitiveness and put forward the ideas of internal soul-casting, external image-shaping, and building core competitiveness. He pointed out that it is necessary to cast the soul with connotations such as cultural construction, management system, talent cultivation, and discipline construction, and do a good job in public welfare undertakings closely around the Healthy China strategy, Tibet and foreign aid, rural revitalization, etc., comprehensively expounding the hospital's development trend of striving hard, being good and upward with the mentality of an examinee, the posture of a struggler, and the state of a runner, to enhance the core competitiveness of the hospital and achieve the high-quality development of the hospital.
In the communication session, the two sides communicated on aspects such as discipline development, cooperation promotion, talent cultivation, medical quality, and cultural construction.
Subsequently, Zhang Wei, Deputy Party Secretary of the Chongqing University Cancer Hospital, and Wang Tiansong, President of our hospital, signed the "Cooperation Agreement on the Construction of the Tumor Standardized Diagnosis and Treatment Base" on behalf of the two hospitals.

On behalf of the hospital's Party committee team, he extended a warm welcome and sincere gratitude to the leaders and experts of the Chongqing University Cancer Hospital. He emphasized that the mutual recognition of each other's hospital culture by the two sides is the key factor for in-depth cooperation. The Chongqing University Cancer Hospital is a well-known hospital in the field of national tumor prevention and treatment. Our hospital becoming the 101st signed and plaque-awarded hospital of the standardized diagnosis and treatment base of the Affiliated Cancer Hospital of Chongqing University is of great significance. The number 101 coincides exactly with the "101" talent echelon project of our hospital, which is a kind of fate. It is hoped that further efforts will be made to strengthen talent cultivation through methods such as the Affiliated Cancer Hospital of Chongqing University sending experts to our hospital for assistance and sending the backbones of our hospital to your hospital for study, further improve the level of tumor standardized diagnosis and treatment in the hospital, and with better medical services and advanced medical technologies, effectively benefit the vast number of tumor patients and better meet the medical needs of the local people and the vast number of tourists.
