On November 18, the "Second National Clinical Research Center for Cardiovascular Diseases Innovation Forum" hosted by the National Clinical Research Center for Cardiovascular Diseases-Beijing Anzhen Hospital Affiliated with Capital Medical University was held in Beijing. At the meeting, Sanya Central Hospital (The Third People's Hospital of Hainan Province) was awarded the "Cooperative Center of the National Clinical Research Center for Cardiovascular Diseases", and Wang Tiansong, Deputy Party Secretary and President of the hospital received the plaque on behalf of the hospital.
It is understood that the National Clinical Research Center for Cardiovascular Diseases is one of the first batch of national clinical research centers approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the National Health Commission, and the General Logistics Department of the People's Liberation Army in August 2013. The center has a large number of national-level clinical research talents, discipline leaders, and technical backbones.
Becoming a cooperative center of the National Clinical Research Center for Cardiovascular Diseases this time marks that our hospital has joined the national team of clinical research on cardiovascular diseases. It is an important opportunity for the hospital to connect with the top domestic cardiovascular clinical research field and carry out high-quality exchanges and cooperation. At the same time, it also means that our hospital has leaped - forward in progress in the "850" discipline construction project, the "101" talent echelon construction project, and the "One Department, One Renowned Hospital" work.
The Cardiovascular Disease Center of our hospital covers three wards, with each ward having a different focus. Ward 1 mainly focuses on coronary intervention; Ward 2 mainly focuses on heart failure and cardiac electrophysiology; Ward 3 mainly focuses on cardiac surgery. The different focuses break the gap between internal and external medicine in cardiovascular diseases, give full play to the strength of the team, and formulate a reasonable diagnosis and treatment plan for each patient. Through the MDT cooperation of multiple means such as internal medicine, surgery, and intervention, it escorts the health of patients with cardiovascular diseases.
Our hospital will take the opportunity of becoming a cooperative center of the National Clinical Research Center for Cardiovascular Diseases to actively communicate and exchange with the expert team of Beijing Anzhen Hospital, closely cooperate and innovate in clinical, scientific research, teaching, and other aspects. In particular, it will carry out in-depth cooperation in aortic dissection aneurysm vascular replacement, coronary artery bypass grafting, cardiac electrophysiology, etc., continuously improve the diagnosis and treatment technology level and clinical research level of cardiovascular diseases, enable the common people to enjoy the top-level cardiovascular diagnosis and treatment services in the country at their doorstep, and continuously meet the growing health needs of the people.
