On November 30, the Chinese Nursing Association held the "National Nursing Science Popularization Education Base" awarding ceremony in Beijing. At the meeting, Sanya Central Hospital (The Third People's Hospital of Hainan Province) was awarded as a National Nursing Science Popularization Education Base by the Chinese Nursing Association (for the 2023-2027 period).

All along, Sanya Central Hospital has been committed to improving the level of nursing services, promoting the development of nursing science popularization education, actively responding to the call of the "Healthy China 2030 Strategic Plan", fully implementing the National Action Plan for Scientific Literacy (2021-2035) and Opinions of the China Association for Science and Technology on Strengthening the Science Popularization Work of Societies in the New Era. Relying on the hospital's years of accumulation in science popularization, based on scientific evidence, it has innovated the forms of nursing science popularization, creating a "national business card" for nursing science popularization in Sanya Central Hospital. While providing high-quality medical nursing services to patients, the nursing team also actively carries out various nursing science popularization activities, regularly organizing nursing experts to give science popularization lectures to enhance the public's understanding and awareness of nursing knowledge.

"Being approved for the title of 'National Nursing Science Popularization Education Base' is not only an affirmation of our hospital's nursing science popularization education and communication capabilities but also puts forward higher requirements for further promoting nursing science popularization education work," said Pan Caiqin, Director of the Nursing Department. In the future, our hospital will continue to adhere to the people - oriented service concept, closely follow the pace of the Chinese Nursing Association, strengthen the construction of the nursing science popularization education base, increase the intensity and quality of the creation of science popularization works, cultivate a high-quality and professional science popularization talent team.  Explore new ways of science popularization, improve the ability of scientific communication, popularize scientific and healthy knowledge, create more high-quality nursing science popularization works that are popular among the people, and make nursing warmer.
