Director of the Burn and Plastic Surgery Department, Sanya Central Hospital (the Third People’s Hospital of Hainan Province), Ph.D., Professor, Chief Physician Chen Xinlong is a disciple of Academician Xia Zhaofan. Since 2012, Dr. Chen has traveled to countries such as South Korea, the United States, and France to study advanced plastic and cosmetic techniques. Dr. Chen is proficient in various cosmetic and plastic surgeries, mastering cutting-edge knowledge and skills in the field; extensive clinical experience in post-burn reconstruction and the repair of difficult-to-treat wounds; skilled in performing different types of flaps, myocutaneous flaps, muscle flaps, and fasciocutaneous flaps; utilize plastic surgery techniques to treat superficial tumors, achieving optimal functional and aesthetic restoration; successfully treated nearly 5,000 cases of burn patients (including flame burns, electrical burns, and chemical burns), with a success rate for severe burn treatment reaching advanced international levels;
published over 50 papers in domestic and international core journals, including more than 30 as the first author, with 6 papers indexed in SCI; awarded five prizes for scientific and technological progress, including three at the provincial and ministerial level.
