Dr. Zhang is currently a member of the Party Committee at Sanya Central Hospital and the Director of the Department of Orthopedics. He has worked and studied at several prestigious medical universities and hospitals both domestically and internationally, including Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine, Sun Yat-sen University Medical School, Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Tsinghua University, the Chinese PLA General Hospital, and the Faculty of Medicine of the Università Politecnica delle Marche in Ancona, Italy. With a solid foundation in clinical skills and basic theories, he is rich in experience and has mastered modern advanced knowledge and techniques. Dr. Zhang is an expert in the field of orthopedics, holding memberships in the AO Spine International Society, Vice Chair of the Hainan Osteoporosis and Bone Mineral Salt Committee, Standing Committee Member of the Orthopedic Professional Committee, Editorial Board Member of Chinese Modern Surgery Journal and Reviewer for Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research. He established the Sanya Bone and Joint Bioengineering Key Laboratory and has led several projects funded by the Hainan Provincial Natural Science Foundation and Medical Science and Technology Innovation Research Fund; received multiple awards, including the Second and Third Prizes for Scientific and Technological Progress in Sanya City; published over 20 medical papers, including works in Chinese Journal of Surgery and SCI-indexed journals.
