He graduated from the Clinical Medicine Department of Shihezi University School of Medicine in 1996 and earned his Ph.D. from Xinjiang Medical University in 2013. With 21 years of clinical, research, and teaching experience at the Otolaryngology Diagnosis and Treatment Center of the People’s Hospital of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Dr. Gu has developed profound expertise in managing critical and severe otolaryngological conditions. Dr. Gu has also pursued advanced training at prestigious institutions such as Beijing Tongren Hospital, Beijing 301 Hospital, Xiangya Hospital of Central South University, Eye & ENT Hospital of Fudan University, Shanghai Sixth People’s Hospital, and Shandong Provincial Hospital. In 2017, Dr. Gu was recruited to The Third People's Hospital of Hainan Province through the “Good Doctor” initiative by the Hainan Health Commission.
Research Focus: Diagnosis and treatment of common otolaryngological diseases; otologic microsurgery and lateral skull base surgery; basic research on head and neck tumors.
Key Research Achievements: Led and participated in multiple national and provincial research projects, including one National Natural Science Foundation project, one Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Natural Science Foundation project, and one Sanya Science and Technology Bureau project; Published 32 papers, including 18 as the first author and one SCI-indexed paper.
