Deputy Director of the Global Health Institute, State University of New York; Director of the New York State Environmental and Occupational Epidemiology Bureau; Professor (full-time, tenure) of Environmental Health Sciences, State University of New York at Albany; Professor at the School of Public Health, Sun Yat-sen University. Dr. Lin holds a Medical Doctorate from the School of Public Health at Sun Yat-sen University (1982) and a Ph.D. in Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (1991), specializing in Epidemiology. Dr. Lin has held significant leadership positions, including the head of the Epidemiological Research and Evaluation Section at the New York State Department of Health’s Environmental Health Division, where he was also a research scientist. He previously led the Center for Environmental and Occupational Epidemiology Research. He has served as the chair of the “Climate Change, Environment, and Public Health” session at the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th International Conferences on Environmental Pollution and Health. Dr. Lin serves as a guest co-editor for Hygiene and Environmental Health Advances, guest editor for Reviews On Environmental Health, contributing editor for special issue Environmental Pollution and Respiratory System Health, and guest editor and reviewer for World Journal of Pediatrics.
