Hou Lihong is a hematologist with over 30 years of experience in clinical practice, teaching, and research in internal medicine/hematology, including basic and clinical research on hematologic malignancies, and molecular pathological mechanisms of bleeding disorders. Dr. Hou has led or played a key role in 5 research projects that won provincial-level first or second prizes for scientific and technological progress; published over 30 papers as the first or corresponding author; joined our hospital as an academic leader in July 2015. Areas of Expertise: Diagnosis and treatment of severe hematologic diseases, acute/chronic leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS), myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN), thrombocytopenia, hemophilia, and other bleeding disorders.
