Member of the Communist Party of China, Chief Physician, and Professor and Master’s Supervisor with a Doctor of Medicine degree. He completed his postdoctoral research at the Chinese People’s Liberation Army General Hospital, under the mentorship of renowned respiratory disease expert, Professor Liu Youning. Dr. Liang currently serves as the Secretary of the Eighth Party Branch, Director of the Department of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine, Chair of the Medical Ethics Committee, and Director of the Internal Medicine Residency Training Base at the hospital. He is a recognized “Top Notch” in Hainan Province and a visiting scholar at Perugia Hospital in Italy.
In February 2020, Dr. Liang played a crucial role in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, leading the quarantine area at Sanya Central Hospital as the Commanding Officer and Temporary Party Branch Secretary. His leadership contributed to the success of the region’s efforts to combat the pandemic.
Dr. Liang has long been engaged in both clinical and basic research in the fields of respiratory diseases and oncology. He was one of the pioneers in Hainan Province in developing and implementing advanced domestic and provincial techniques such as painless bronchoscopy, bronchial alveolar lavage for the treatment of refractory pneumonia and oil-aspiration pneumonia, and fluorescence bronchoscopy for early lung cancer diagnosis. His clinical expertise includes the diagnosis and treatment of lung cancer, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, lower respiratory tract infections, and respiratory critical illnesses. Dr. Liang has participated in key national research projects, including the “13th Five-Year Plan” major special projects and the National Natural Science Foundation, and has led numerous research initiatives in Heilongjiang Province, Hainan Province, and Sanya City. He has also led over 10 clinical trials (including international multicenter projects) and received two First-Class Science and Technology Progress Awards at the municipal level; published more than 40 academic papers.
