Associate Chief Physician, Director of the Ophthalmology Department, graduated in 1994 from Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine. After graduation, Dr. Zheng has worked in the ophthalmology field and completed one year of advanced study in ophthalmology at the Zhongshan Ophthalmic Center in Guangzhou in 1996. Dr. Zheng has gained clinical experience in treating common eye diseases, eye trauma, glaucoma, and cataract surgery, and was promoted to Associate Chief Physician in 2005, attended an international ophthalmology training course in 2006, and completed another half-year advanced study at the Zhongshan Ophthalmic Center in 2010. Dr. Zheng is proficient in the diagnosis and treatment of common and frequently occurring eye diseases and has expertise in handling difficult cases, capable of independently performing common ophthalmic surgeries such as cataract extracapsular extraction with intraocular lens implantation, trabeculectomy, enucleation, pterygium excision, and eyelid mass removal; published eight papers in national core medical journals, and received the Third Prize for Sanya Science and Technology Progress Award from 2011 to 2014. Dr. Zheng is also a Standing Committee Member of the Hainan Province Ophthalmological Society.
