Zeng Juntao, a medical doctor with a Ph.D., currently serves as the Vice President of Sanya Central Hospital. Dr. Zeng has been recognized with numerous honors, including “Outstanding Individual in Health Talent Support for Minority and Poverty-Stricken Areas in Hainan Province”, “Outstanding Individual in Flood Relief and Disaster Response in Hainan Province”, “Outstanding Individual in Emergency Response Work in Hainan Province”, “Outstanding Communist Party Member” by Hainan Medical University, “Outstanding Communist Party Member” by the Hainan Provincial Education Working Committee, “Model of Professional Ethics in the National Health System”, “Outstanding Individual in the National Health System’s Campaign for Excellence”. In 2019, Dr. Zeng was awarded the title of “Chinese Good Doctor of the Month”. In 2020, Dr. Zeng was selected for the “Second Batch of the South China Sea Talent Development Program”; led and participated in the completion of 2 National Natural Science Foundation projects, 1 Hainan Provincial Natural Science Foundation project, 3 Hainan Provincial Health Department projects, and 1 Hainan Medical University Talent Startup Fund project; awarded the Second Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress by Xi’an City; published over 30 professional papers, including 3 SCI-indexed papers, 1 MEDLINE-indexed article, 3 articles in Chinese core journals, and 12 articles in other core journals; co-authored 2 academic books as a deputy editor and participated as an editorial board member in the compilation of the undergraduate textbook Tropical Medicine published by the People’s Medical Publishing House.
