Zhou Xiangqun holds a medical bachelor’s degree and serves as the Chief Physician and Deputy Director of the Cardiovascular Disease Center, Director of the Interventional Department, and Medical Director of the Chest Pain Center; Standing Committee Member of the Cardiovascular Professional Committee of the Hainan Medical Association; Deputy Director of the Cardiovascular Disease Quality Control Center of Hainan Province; Deputy Director of the Coronary Artery Disease Intervention Quality Control Center. In 2018, he received the “Hainan Physician Award”. Zhou Xiangqun has extensive experience in the interventional treatment of complex coronary artery diseases, including acute myocardial infarction emergency PCI, chronic occlusions, calcified lesions, bifurcation lesions, as well as interventional treatment for congenital heart disease, e.g., atrial septal defect and ventricular septal defect closure, aortic dissection, and renal artery stenosis. He has performed over 5,000 interventional procedures.
